Min Biography
John H. Meyer, 69, was born in Germany on June 15, 1815. John
married his wife, Eliese, in Germany. Joh. Hinrich G. Meyer is
their son and Mrs. J. Gerhard (Anna) Albers is their daughter. If
he came to the USA in August, 1880 with his son, he arrived too
late to be listed in the 1880 US census and he died before the 1885
Nebraska state census. He died on October 6, 1884 and is buried at
St. Johns cemetery, Hooper, Nebraska.
