Zeitungsbericht: August Ritterhoff
The funeral service for the late August RITTERHOFF were conducted last Fridayafternoon and interment made in the Leigh cemetery Rev. ERCK conducted theservices at the Zion Lutheran church and a large
concourse of friends and relatives made up the cortage.
The deceased died on Tuesday, December 20th, following a stroke of paralysisthat day. He had been hauling hogs for a neigbor and in the course of duty wasovertaken with a stroke. He never regained condlousness and died that evening.
August Herman RITTERHOFF was born March 23, 1892, in Oldenburg, Germany. Hecame to America in 1881 and spent a number of years in Wisconsin and SouthDakota. Of late years he has been making his
home in this community. He was a brother of the late Mrs. Fred BONING and wasunmarried. He reached the age of 59 years, 8 months and 27 days. |
