Mrs. Riemann Dies Suddenly
Mrs. John C. Riemann, wife of former County Treasurer Riemann, of near Teutopolis, died Friday morning at 6:45 o'clock, age 52. Tuesday noon she was stricken with apoplexy and Wednesday another stroke overtook her and the end came peacefully Friday.
The funeral took place Sunday morning at 8 o'clock from the St Francis Church, and was largely at tended by a host of sorrowing relatives and friends.
Mrs. Riemann's untimely death comes as a great shock to her many relatives and friends in and around the east part of the county. She will be greatly missed and deeply mourned by all who knew her. Her maiden name was Miss Catherine Hatke.
Mrs Riemann was born March 3, 1862, and on May 2nd, 1882, was united in marriage to John C. Rieman.
She leaves the following children: Mrs. Joe Schneidejan, Misses Katie, Mary, Josephine, Rose and Bernadine and Messrs John , Joseph and Eugene Riemann.
